College-Going

College-going is the percentage is JCPS graduates who enroll in a postsecondary institution within 12 months of high school graduation. The college-going steadily decreased from 2009 to 2021.

Note that data for 2021 is incomplete—the data was obtained fewer than 12 months after graduation, so some students who went on to enroll in college were not in the data at the time of publication. As such, numbers for 2021 more accurately reflect students enrolled in college within six months of graduation. They should not be compared to previous years. The correct college-going rate for 2021 is around 47%.
